Fundraising at our school
Fundraising allows us to continue to invest in resources for the children, which we would otherwise not be able to afford.
We achieve this each year through:
- applying for grants
- generating income through our fundraising events
- corporate sponsorship and donations
- lettings of our school premises

How have we spent the money raised this year?
Here are some of the ways that we have spent the money raised so far:
- We subsidised the year 1 trip to Lyme Regis to make it more affordable
- We subsidised the year 2 trip to Teignmouth to make it more affordable
- We subsidised the year 5 swimming lessons to make it more affordable
- Theatre Alibi visited the school to perform a workshop with KS1 children
- The MED Theatre worked with year 5 children during a series of drama workshops
- The whole school was treated to a special World Book Daystory-telling performance by a visiting theatre group - Entertainingly Different
- We have purchased new tents so we can host overnight camping at school. Year 5 will be the first children to use these on their Walking and Camping trip in July
- We purchased welcome books for all our new children joining us in Reception class in September
